FAQ: FAQ

How is the bacon packaged?

Your bacon is vacuum sealed to preserve freshness.  We then freeze it so that it travels well and remains cool in transit.  When it arrives, you can toss it in the fridge or freezer and re-thaw it whenever you are ready to enjoy the best bacon you'll ever have.

How is the bacon shipped?

If you choose to have the bacon shipped to you it will come via UPS Ground, which will take between 1-3 days depending on your proximity to our kitchen in New Jersey.

You may also elect to have your order shipped via UPS 2nd Day AIr, which will arrive in 2 days.

If you are located in the Southern New Jersey / Philadephia area, you can also choose to pick up your order at our kitchen in Bellmawr, NJ.

If you have any questions about your order, send us an email at fatbellybacon@gmail.com.

When will my order ship?

We will ship orders to insure they arrive within three days. This means that unless we are certain you will receive your order before Saturday, we will only ship on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Keep in mind that UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday, and we don't want your order sitting somewhere for an extra day or two.

What do I do when my order arrives?

When you get your bacon, stick it in the fridge! It should still be cool when it arrives, but don’t panic if it's warm. Bacon is a cured meat and it will inhibit bacterial growth for a bit, but we still recommend you refrigerate it once you receive it.

How do I cook my bacon?

Do we REALLY have to tell you this? Every red blooded American should know how to cook bacon!

Pan fry low heat, or bake in a 400° oven until it's done the way you like it.
